Muffin and Maverick's Evil Bakery

Maverick excitedly awoke to concoct a new recipe for his poisonous muffins. Maverick was a tall, slim man who adored being evil. His short, silky hair shines when the sun rises. His eyes are narrow, and his resting face doesn't look very friendly. He owns no ordinary bakery but rather a bakery that creates poisonous muffins.
One day, he decided to make one test muffin of this new recipe to feed to his lab rat, not knowing what an abomination he would make. He has something that can be poisonous or make humans sick. Aha! Cat fur is purrfect! To a mixing bowl, he added flour, eggs, sugar, salt, butter, baking powder, and cat hair to the muffins he had lying around from his previous cat. He started to bake his new muffin until three minutes in, and he heard meowing from the oven!
He quickly opened the oven to see that, instead of his muffin, there was a cat! With a height of four inches, big sweet eyes, a bright pink nose, and calico fur on a Munchkin cat’s body, Muffin was born. He smelled like a nice warm chocolate muffin, and, with that, Muffin the Munchkin was born. Maverick was so surprised that he jumped backward, landing on his butt. Muffin jumped out of the oven on top of him and started to purr. Maverick was excited to see the adorable creature he had just made. Maverick picked the cat up and looked at it with sweet eyes. The cat meowed at him. “I'll call you Muffin, Muffin the Munchkin cat made of muffins!” Maverick said.
6 MONTHS LATER…
Maverick looks at Muffin and wonders if Muffin can speak. He has a friend who is a mad scientist. Maverick buys a cat translator from that friend so Muffin can speak English. “My goal is to be evil, so why not have an evil cat beside me?” Maverick thinks. Muffin learns to talk, sounding like a sweet, robotic voice. He knew the importance of evil and how to be evil would be necessary to teach Muffin now that he could speak. After months of teaching Muffin, he finally learns how and why he should be evil. Maverick must also be very careful running his evil bakery; he doesn't want to get caught by the police. Muffin wants to make sure he makes Maverick proud, and he doesn't want to let Maverick down with anything.
The bakery runs for a few months, and new customers, Gianna and Diana, arrive at the shop. They ring up the cashier.
“I would like one blueberry muffin, please,” Gianna says.
“And a chocolate muffin for me!” Diana exclaims.
Maverick stares at them and giggles. “What type of poison? You can try our signature fl-” Gianna cuts him off.
“I’m sorry, what?! We’re looking for regular muffins, geez!” Gianna says, feeling both annoyed and shocked. Diana and Gianna speed walk out.
A COUPLE WEEKS LATER
“I'm starving. I could go for a blueberry muffin right now.” Gianna says, her stomach rumbling.
“Ugh, you always love blueberry muffins. YUCK!” Diana argues.
“How could you disrespect the greatest creation on the planet: BLUEBERRY MUFFINS??!” Diana rolls her eyes, pushes Gianna, and leaves. Gianna is still furious, knowing that her favorite food got heavily disrespected. With that burning anger in her, Gianna devises a plan to get revenge on Diana and have Diana respect, if not love, blueberry muffins.
“I can imagine her begging for forgiveness,” Gianna thinks. She knows about Maverick’s business and decides to put her knowledge about it to use. She invites Diana to an "apology" breakfast to eat muffins. Gianna offers Diana her favorite chocolate chip muffin, seemingly as a peace offering. However, this muffin contains Maverick's signature flu poison, designed to work against flu shots. Gianna enjoys her harmless blueberry muffin, but Diana will have a sickness, just concealed by a simple, harmless-looking muffin. Diana takes a big bite out of the muffin. At first, Diana seemed completely fine.
“Oh my gosh, what a lovely muffin, thanks Gianna,” Diana says, smiling. However, Diana has no clue that she just got poisoned by her best friend.
A WEEK LATER
For the past week, Diana had been throwing up nonstop. Diana is bedridden and in constant pain. Diana knows that Gianna must have been behind this, considering their recent argument.
“She will never apologize. She’s too selfish. How did I fall for her trap?” Diana thinks. Having known about Maverick’s business through their first encounter, Diana heads to his bakery. Even considering her terrible condition, Diana was motivated to get revenge.
“Can you help me poison Gianna? I want to give her a taste of her own medicine after poisoning me,” Diana asked.
“Gianna is close to me. She is one of the people I would never poison,” Maverick said. Diana is bummed.
“I shouldn’t have come to you anyway. You were involved in poisoning me.” Diana said. As she was walking out of the bakery, Muffin was sitting on the porch.
“I’ll make you the muffins for her. Free of charge. I like drama,” Muffin’s translator said in a sweet, robotic voice.
“You would do that for me? Thank you so much!” Diana exclaimed. She returned home, took some flu medicine, and went to bed. Muffin couldn’t create muffins from scratch, but his powers can help him make muffins. Muffin found the spiciest hot sauce in the world. Muffin generated some of those muffins, blueberry flavored, and he quickly added a load of hot sauce. Muffin left the muffins on Gianna’s doorstep and rang her doorbell.
“I am such an amazing cat,” Muffin said to himself. Gianna opened the door.
“Wow, these muffins look amazing! This act of kindness restored my faith in humanity.” She bit into one muffin, then screamed. She ran around her house and dumped anything cold into her mouth. She shouted, “I KNOW YOU DID THIS DIANA!! I’LL GET YOU, WAIT.” Gianna felt sad saying those words. She realized how evil of a person she had become. The urge to help Diana with a healing muffin started pushing her. Gianna drove herself to Diana's house with muffins that weren't poisonous. She rang the doorbell.
“Diana, hello, anyone home?” Gianna said. Gianna could hear footsteps. They grew louder as she saw Diana at the front door. Diana was still in pain but feeling way better. Gianna said with a soft tone. “Diana, I am very, very sorry for wh-...”
“I'm going to stop you there,” Diana said. Gianna gave a stern look.
“Why on earth would you ever do that to me? I have the worst pain ever due to you.” Diana replied with a low tone of voice.
“Look, Diana, I feel sorry for what I did, I do… Please forgive me '' Gianna said. Diana huffed.
“Fine, but just because you are my best friend.” Gianna put the chocolate muffins down and leaped towards Diana with open arms. Diana hugged Gianna back.
“Now I have a plan for us,” Gianna said.
“What is it?” Diana replied.
A FEW WEEKS PASSED
Maverick is in his own little world, adding some poison to his muffins. Out of nowhere, the police barge in! Maverick stopped, still holding his poison. “The poison that Maverick is holding is perfect evidence to prove the cruelty of his business,” Gianna and Diana thought.
“HANDS UP MAVERICK MUFFIN. YOU’RE DONE FOR! EVERYTHING YOU SAY CAN AND WILL BE USED AGAINST YOU IN THE COURT OF LAW!” the police exclaim. Maverick drops everything and lifts his hands in the air. Muffin does the same since he understands human language. Maverick gets driven to the police station while they leave Muffin.
Muffin shed a tear, seeing his owner being taken away by the police. Gianna looks behind the cop cars to find Muffin. She walks towards Muffin.
“I think you deserve a better home,” Gianna says calmly. Gianna and Diana take Muffin to the pet shop to buy him treats, food, a bed, and toys. Gianna takes Muffin home and sets up his new area. At first, Muffin feels uncomfortable in a new environment, but he starts to warm up and is now happy with his new owner.
A FEW DAYS PASSED
Diana comes to visit Muffin every day at Gianna’s home. And with each day that passes, Muffin feels happier. Gianna teaches him the importance of kindness and love. With Muffin’s harsh environment in the past, this new one is his dream. Diana feels better than ever; she isn’t sick anymore. They all live happily ever after. As for Maverick, he has been in jail for quite some time now, and he still hasn't learned his lesson. Maverick tried to poison an officer to escape but sadly failed and got more time in prison.
